One Crore and given free of any charges to conduct marriages including vessels, furnitures etc. an estimated cost of Rs. 1.3 Crores. Successfully runs a hospital mainly for the downtrodden in Maraimalai Nagar, the suburb of Chennai through Rotary Club of Maraimalai Nagar Running a subsidized Hygienic Canteen for the old and the villagers of Pulankurichi Village. They also enjoy free facilities as TV, News Papers etc., Founder Trustee and donor to Rotary Club of Madras Central, TTK, VHS Blood Bank, which is a monument today During the year 1998-1999 conducted a Star Cricket Match at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium. Was responsible for the Ashtabandana Applications for all the deities in Kapaleeswarar Temple during Kumbhabishegam Was nominated as the Chairman for Gangadheeshwarar temple at Purasawalkam by Government of Tamil Nadu and he did Kumbabishegam for the Gangadheeshwarar Temple and other five temples along with it and as his contribution has donated around 80 Lakhs. Built a Vasantha Mandabam at a cost of around 40 lakhs. Being the President of his home town Pulankurichi Village, built a Sivan Temple and Vishnu Temple for which he donated around Rs.16 Lakhs. This Temple has the following deities, Vinayagar, Sahasralingam, Singaravelar, Thakshinamoorthy, Kasilingam, Durgai, Sakkarathalvar, Venkatachalapathy, Panchamuga Aanjaneyar, Karudalwar and Navagraham with Consorts and Vaganams. All the above deities are in independent Sunnadhies. In association with Nagarathars conducted the Second Kumbabhishegam of Arulmigu Singaravelar Temple at a cost of few Lakhs of Rupees. His personal contribution has been Rs. 16 Lakhs for the above. Joining hands with the Natives of the Village renovated and conducted the Kumbabhishegam function of Arulmigu Angalaparameshwari Amman Temple. He has contributed Rs. 8 Lakhs for the same. Built Rajagopuram for above temple at a cost of Rs. 25 Lakhs Donates 2.5 lakhs every year for the Prasadham of Kasi Viswanathar temple Varanasi. For the first time ever I conducted Sri Srinivasa Kalyanotsavam in the presence of Devasthanam priests at my native place Pulankurichi.(26.08.2023). More than 18000 devotees took part and received the Lord’s blessings. Built Dhanvanthri Arogyalakshmi Temple in Tirukazhukundram. Donated sum of Rs.1,00,00,000/-(Rupees One Crore Only) for building a choultry in Varanasi for the benefit of pilgrims from Tamilnadu.
ROTARY During his governorship lead a team of 32 Rotarians including 3 Ladies to Pakistan via Wagah Border on a peace mission. During his Presidentship in 1995-1996 successfully conducted a Cycle Rally of 9 Rotaractors of Peace Motion starting from Chennai to Singapore and from Singapore to Penang. A total of around 900 km in 10 days by cycle wherein everyday evening they were received by a Rotary Club of that City or Town and celebrated International Night with them. Built and donated an ICU for Margaret Sydney Hospital, a project of Rotary Club of Madras Central at a total cost of about Rs. 12.5 Lakhs Furnished two class rooms at Thorapakkam Panchayat School through Rotary Club of Perungudi at a cost of about Rs.40,000/- Built a Meeting Hall and a Vocational Training Centre Hall known as Abirami Centre at Kuilthottam, Santhome. Supporting the downtrodden by donating for marriages every year to the value of around Rs. 50,000/- Supporting the downtrodden by scholarships for around Rs. 2 Lakhs every year Built a community centre at Sullampatti, Pulankurichi at a cost of Rs. 7 Lakhs. Built a Computer Education Centre for School drop outs and a tailoring centre for a destitute women and donated it to Rotary Club of Chetpet for them to manage. He has donated 4.75 Acres of his property at Pulankurichi to Vivekananda Institute to run a CBSE School with priority for children whose parents are uneducated. Has donated Rs. 30 Lakhs to Rotary Club of Gudiyatham to build a hospital. Has donated Rs. 15 Lakhs to Rotary Club of Pernambet to build a marriage hall. Abirami Ramanathan’s Contribution for modernizing of Indian Cinema Halls First to introduce the following modern techiniques in the four Cinema halls of Abirami Mega Mall in India paving the path for Indian Cinema Halls to rise to International standards DTS (Digital Theatre Sound) System in India Computer Ticketing in India Dial-A-Ticket and tickets will be home delivered E-ticketing where any movie goers can print his own ticket Dolby Stereo System in a Tamil Language theatre Digital projection in South India, Dowloading of movies via satellite to cinema halls. Pick up and drop facility in limousine Created Abirami Mega Mall - First Mall – Family Entertainment Center (FEC) of its kind in India with Egyptian theme to international standards consisting of 3 floors of Shopping, 18 Counter Food Court, Gaming Area, Entertainment, 4 Cinema Theatres which have created a world record with 222 films each having a run of 100 days, 35 films each a silver jubilee and won the best theatre award many times and for the first time in the world a Roof-Top Drive-in Restaurant yet to be opened. Created the first 5 star theatre of India – Swarna Sakthi Abirami and Shree Annai Abirami – with chairs which recline 100% with a butler on wait. Created a Snow Cave by name Abirami Mega Snow World with 50Ft. high firy ice slide, where 5 tonnes of pure crystallized snow manufactured per day out of mineral water at minus six degrees with 50 tonnes snow on the floor which is considered as the best entertainment in India. 1st of its kind in the world – Multi colourful snow dancing floor - A safe dance floor for all ages. Dance to the music of the Arctic music group – Penguins, Polar bears, Dolphins. Created Abirami Kids World with all games and entertainment for children at Abirami Mega Mall. Introduced for the first time in Tamil Nadu Novel amusement area of “KISSING CARS” at Abirami Mega Mall Introduced Teen’s world at Abirami Mega Mall which is now the center of attraction of teen agers of Chennai. The latest is India’s First Futuristic Theatre – Robot Bala Abirami with unique spaceship theme.
